Idk how I would do what I do without my husband. I feel so much heartache for them. My grandfather died in 1992, and that made my grandmother a widow. When I started working at a fastfood restaurant, she would come visit me, and drink coffee with the old men. Bill would ask my grandmother out multiple times, finally grandma said "Bill, you're a great friend, and I know you're widowed as well, we've already had the best, so why settle for second best?" I always remember that.
